The Abloy SUPER WEATHER PROOF (SWP) range of padlocks includes both mechanical and electromechanical models in a range of sizes. All padlocks in the range - both electromechanical and mechanical - offer the same high level of durability. Different sizes of mechanical and electromechanical locks can be combined in the same locking system, meeting EN12320 Grades 3, 4, 5, or 6, dependent on model chosen.

In the ABLOY CLIQ REMOTE system, both the key used for every opening event and the time are recorded in an access register. System administration, key programming and changes to access rights can be carried out in real time at any location anywhere in the world. Mechanical re-keying is unnecessary, as lost keys can easily be deactivated or reactivated when found.

All SWP Padlocks are IP68 rated and are fully dust tight, and can withstand continued immersion in water

IP (International Protection) codes indicate how well an item is protected against dust and water ingress. The first digit indicates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion of foreign objects and dust, the second digit indicates water resistance. The IP68 designation awarded to Abloy SUPER WEATHER PROOF (SWP) padlocks indicates a hermetic seal

ABLOY CLIQ REMOTE is a true one key solution where CLIQ keys are able to operate both the electromechanical and mechanical cylinders. CLIQ cylinders are installed in areas which require electronic features such as audit trails, time limited access and easy blocking of lost keys. Those areas could for instance be the perimeters, storerooms or server rooms. Mechanical ABLOY PROTEC2 cylinders are then installed in the other areas.
